Yamila Franco
Yamila Franco is a proud Sister In Canada, friend, and advocate for financial inclusion.
Yamila leads a growing team of financial educators through World System Builder, a social enterprise on a mission to help educate 30 million families by 2030 through financial literacy and entrepreneurship. Their educational initiatives have partnered with universities, businesses, and community organizations across North America, and instructors from their network have taught at institutions including UBC, Harvard University, and Columbia University.
She has also contributed her expertise through leadership roles advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion, and believes that financial education is one of the most powerful tools for creating economic mobility and strengthening communities.

This workshop is for women who want a clearer, more confident relationship with money and financial decision-making in Canada.

Do I need financial knowledge to attend?
No. The workshop is designed to be accessible whether you are starting from the basics or strengthening what you already know.
Is this workshop only for newcomers?
No. It is especially relevant to women navigating financial decisions in Canada, but you do not have to be newly arrived.
