Financial Educator & Advocate for Financial Inclusion

Yamila Franco is a proud Sister In Canada, friend, and advocate for financial inclusion.

Yamila leads a growing team of financial educators through World System Builder, a social enterprise on a mission to help educate 30 million families by 2030 through financial literacy and entrepreneurship. Their educational initiatives have partnered with universities, businesses, and community organizations across North America, and instructors from their network have taught at institutions including UBC, Harvard University, and Columbia University.

She has also contributed her expertise through leadership roles advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion, and believes that financial education is one of the most powerful tools for creating economic mobility and strengthening communities.
