Olga brings extensive experience in immigrant and refugee settlement, community development and creating pathways for newcomers to participate fully in Canadian society.

The Safe Haven Conference, organized by Sisters In Canada Wellness Society, creates a welcoming and empowering space for newcomer and long-settled immigrant women to connect, learn, build relationships and discover resources that can support their lives in Canada.
For one meaningful day, women from different backgrounds, professions and stages of their immigrant journeys come together in one room with a shared understanding:

It started with one room in Surrey.
The first Safe Haven Conference was held in 2023 with a simple but important goal: create a space where immigrant women could feel seen, supported and connected.
200+women gathered for conversations around integration, resilience, opportunity and community.
15+immigrant- and community-serving organizations brought resources directly into the room, so women could ask questions and discover the support available to them.
Safe Haven returned with more sisters, more stories and more resources.
And now, we are opening the doors again. 2026 marks our FOURTH year.
The community has continued to grow. Four years in, the doors are open again.

The Safe Haven Conference welcomes newcomer and immigrant women, women who have lived in Canada for years, past Safe Haven attendees, professionals and job seekers, entrepreneurs and business owners, community members and families, and employers, service providers and organizations interested in engaging immigrant women meaningfully.
Whether Canada became home six months ago or twenty years ago, there is a seat for you.
How much are tickets, and when do prices change?
Early Bird tickets are $39.99 CAD from September 21 – October 11, 2026. Regular Admission is $49.99 CAD from October 12 – November 24, 2026.
